tin can candle holder 

Materials:

bullet

Clean, empty tin can

bullet

Tea light candle

bullet

Nail

bullet

Hammer

bullet

Water

bullet

Freezer (or cold weather!)

bullet

Mitts or gloves

bullet

Paper, pencil, and tape (optional)

How to:

Fill an empty tin can 3/4 full with water.

bullet

Place the can in a freezer or outside overnight to allow the water to freeze

bullet

Use a hammer and nail to make holes in the sides of the can.  Create your design with paper first if you like - then tape it to the can as a guide.

When the design is complete, place the can in a sink and let the ice melt (warm water poured over the outside will speed this process up)

Place a candle inside the can and light it!
